Our basic marine fire-fighting and prevention course is directed to crews and port facilities personnel.  The contents provide participants, who are not professional certified firefighters, with the minimum theoretical knowledge (at an Awareness level) and minimum practical skills (at anOperations level), required to perform basic fire-fighting as secondary/accessory function of their main ones at the workplace / on-board motor yachts / ships. This version does not include practice with SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus). The course contents adhere to the UN (United Nations) IMO (International Maritime Organization) STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping) convention Table A- VI/1-2 and were covered at an Awareness (A) level and/or practiced at an Operations (O) level. | Duration: 16 hours.

 

Certifications offered:

-GLC Aquatic Safety Dept. (international bilingual wall certificate).

-DC-3 form from STPS (only for Mexico).
